All About Me
Pastry has quickly become the creative outlet I have searched for most of my life. I was working at the Historic West Baden Springs Resort in Indiana as a prep cook, when I fell into the world of pastry. I have never looked back! I landed a position as a pastry cook at the resort and climbed my way up. I took advantage of every opportunity to grow my knowledge and experiment. My passion and grit earned me the title of Pastry Chef after only one year.
Eventually, I was ready to spread my wings and learn from the best in the industry. I moved to Charlotte to work with my mentor at Charlotte Country Club. I spent the next three years elevating my craft and continuing to learn all the science and art behind fine dining pastry and cake art.
Once I was ready to continue learning, I decided to take a different approach and educate myself on the business aspects of running a bakery. I accepted a position as a General Manager with a popular Charlotte Bakery and ran two of their locations before accepting the position of Executive Pastry Chef at Carmel Country Club.
All of my experience has finally led me to open up my very own Cake Boutique right here in Charlotte, NC. I've loved creating countless specialty cakes and wedding cakes over the last fifteen years. I am so excited to offer my expertise to the community.
